The City’s Sustainability and Climate Action Plan (S/CAP) focuses on two major greenhouse gas emission goals: reducing greenhouse gas emissions 80% by 2030 or “80 x 30” and carbon neutrality by 2030. The S/CAP is a plan that outlines goals and action areas providing guidance on steps the City and the community need to take to reach these goals. In addition, the S/CAP Work Plan is a roadmap of tangible objectives and priorities, with the greenhouse gas inventories providing annual data on progress achieving 80x30.
